Archivist Ian Willsher has always loved newspapers. He began collecting them in 1981, and has acquired his collection from libraries, government departments and private collections. Papers Past is a proud family business - Ian's son Sam joined him after completing his degree in business. Most of the newspapers in the Papers Past collection are back issues of The Times, which is one of the most quintessentially British institutions. The collection amounts to thousands, and also includes Sunday papers and papers from key historical events, so if your loved one was lucky enough to be born on an extra special day in the UK, they will also get a little piece of history.
